Went for a 4 day break. Great for walking the dog. All staff where very friendly. Stayed in a dog friendly caravan plenty of room lovely caravan they onky thing is it misses the personal touches. Will probably return and look too book through owners direct dog friendly of course.

Caravans are pleasant & well maintained. The food in the onsite restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The shop is well stocked. However, should you need to use the laundry, there is no machine for buying washing powder so you need to take your own! The staff at the site are friendly and helpful. We didn't like the layout of the site, which is long and thin - or the location - which is why I have ultimately only awarded three stars.

Travelled 4 hours to visit this caravan park. On arrival at 1pm we went to reception to check in and we're told we couldn't till 4pm. Asked for priority check in and said we can't as we needed to let them know 24 hours even though we did try to contact them the day before but the phone rang out. So we waited around till 4 and arrived at the caravan, we were located right next to the railway line. Around 4 car lengths away. The trains were very regular and the cargo trains were very loud. This kept waking me up all night. The caravan was very old, which smelt of mould especially in the furthest bedroom. Couldn't handle another night so just left early. I will never be returning. I'm surprised the reviews are as high as they are!

Stayed in a lodge which had outstanding views and was modern with hot tub and dishwasher. En-suite master bedroom plus 2 other twins. Club room was small and dark and there was a bad smell in gents loo all the time. Kids play area looked run down. Would go again but wouldn't use club/resturaunt which was vastly overpriced.

I didnt have the heart to do no stars this place was so bad i would recomend that it should be pulled down and made in to a carpark as thats all its good for bad services rude staff and looking that are sub standerd we walkin in to a floter and bedding that was dirty when.we complaint it took 3 days of a 4 day stay to get bedding a mop and the caravan fixed be wanted please dont go its not worth the money
